I explain how I was raised to see God in everything, how I came to believe I had a personal relationship with him, and how I began to enter a personal crisis in college when that relationship started failing and feeling distant and confused. Dude, you are SO deceived.
@pmf8
Its like feel really high on the holy spirit, and they start gibering nonsense.
And somone claims they understand what they are saying and “translates” if its “really god speaking”
@propheticman
or maybe it’s all in your head and your experience is wrong
well your life, like mine, is a giant catch-22.
@pmf8 it can be speaking in ancient tongues or speaking the language of angels. so they can talk whatever gibberish they want
@pmf8 Like many things in Christianity, it depends on the denomination. Pentecostals believe it’s a secret language they they themselves don’t understand when they’re reciting it. They say it helps them pray for what they don’t even know they need. It isn’t an actual language. Many Churches believed it was the ability of disciples to speak multiple languages, given to them at the Pentecost.
Evid3nc3 makes several references to “speaking in tongues”. Although I’ve seen videos of this, I’ve never really understood what this meant generally, or personally to the believer. Can someone explain this to me? Does the believer think they are divining/channeling someone/something? Does he/she believe this “tongue” is a genuine ancient language? Or is it just cathartic babbling? How does the believer reconcile the varying “tongues” spoken by different people? Thoughts?
0:20 fortuitous personal interactions, yeh, those make me think of god too.
@Evid3nc3 After dealing with your delusion of grandeur as a christian, was it difficult to cope with the realization that you weren’t indeed a person of special importance?
I can not only relate to this, I have physically and emotionally gone through it… Albeit at a much younger age… About fourteen to be precise.
I used to argue as passionately as possible of god’s existence, yet not go to church or even believe the bible as literal…
… Personally, I was looking for someone to prove me wrong… Or looking back it would seem that way.
These videos are very powerful, you’re a credit to ex-christians for posting them.
i hide my porn from parents, that abaut only hiding going on in my atheist life
@Darthmas2242 Thats sad to hear, Did you seeek like the Apostles did? That wholeheartedly?..most of us go through seasons in our lives were we feel cut-off from God, but as we return in humble repentance (I humbly know I know I’m not who created me,..nor can I ever understand everything)..all I can to is be serious in my seeking to Know, Love, obey, God, and He reveals Himself daily to me as King Jesus, the only God I want to live with for eternity in His Kingdom of peace, joy, love, and justice
@propheticman Three years of this was not enough? I have come to accept it as an impossibility.
@Darthmas2242 Daily ASK Him to, and really, really, mean it,…and He will…seek, grow up in the faith…Abide like the Apostles did,..fully heart fixed on King Jesus, crying out, teach me your ways, create in me a Clean heart, I want to know, love, and Obey you God,…then He will, its our free-will, we must CHOOSE daily to let Him convict, teach, and change us, and prepare us for eternal life in His Holy Kingdom…cold, lukewarm following not good enough in these endtimes…many fall away
This person did not really know How to Abide/Remain In Christ, so fell for the devil’s tricks, and lies; an error that many in christian church fall for (see Rev 2,3 endtimes 7 churches), they all believe they know, and obey Jesus, and Jesus lives in their hearts, and have a relationship with a Spirit..but they do not Abide In Christ, so get cut off from His Light, and understanding, and fall back into darkness:the prophets are returning to teach christians how to Abide, fully armored, in Christ
God must hide much of the truth from satan and the devils or they would start working against God’s Will, so Goid hides Truths from humans who choose rebellion….thats why we MUST enter into the Light of God’s Presence, and REMAIN THERE, to hear God’s, Jesus’ voice, and understand the Truth, and have words to refute the atheists, occultists, and other religions..the devils can’t enter God’s Presence to understand what God is really doing, so kept not acting against what will happen (prophecy)
@propheticman If your god is omnipotent then he could fix my mind to believe in him. Does that mean God’s not omnipotent? Even so, I can logically disprove Omnipotence. It’s all a fallacy now that reason has given me eyes.
You knew some of the truth, but you did not really believe it in your heart, so lost first love. Jesus told us why many fall away,..when times of sufferings come, ..can’t handle life’s refiners fire, (see Parable of the Sower)…its not an easy walk with Jesus through life’s wilderness amongst the savage wolves in the world..but He is here, but does things in His timing, not ours, and He gives us the answers to our questions if we keep seeking wholeheartedly
@Darthmas2242 If you truly (at that young age) earnestly cried out to God in humble repentance to reveal Himself to you at 14, wanting nothing more in life to know, love, and obey, Him… and He didn’t reveal Himself to you then I could understand it, but for all of us who have for many many more years He has answered our questions, and continues to as we walk with Him, wholeheartedly…most only earnestly seek Him properly, seriously on their death beds, or in times of major sufferings…seek
@Darthmas2242 You probably did not really understand, nor really know God, Jesus, nor true Gospel, bad news, and good news, life’s true purpose, and how to daily Abide In Christ at that young age.If you truly (at that young age) earnestly cried out to God in humble repentance to reveal Himself to you at 14, wanting nothing more in life to know, love, and obey, Him… and He didn’t reveal Himself to you then I could understand it, but for all of us who have for many many more years, Jesus answers
@propheticman I tried to regain my faith when I was 14. Three years of trying and my logical mind has not allowed me even a deistic moment of believing in God. Fool, you think it’s easy to regain faith? Don’t make me laugh. I care more about being right than happy and as such…don’t believe in God because of it. Some people are exactly like me so there’s no way we’d ever be Christian. Do not be so foolish in making statements like that.
You’ve lost your first love, like the guy in this video, if you don’t keep your heart fixed on “the author and finisher of our faith”…King Jesus,…you will lose the ability to hear Jesus’ (God’s) voice to refute all the atheists, agnostics, and false religions, including false versions of christianity…you’ve stepped OUT of the illuminating Light of God’s Presence, and will not experience fellowship with the True God anymore until you return in humble repentance to daily pursue righteousness
@sojoyful I guess reading is not your FORTE.
@sojoyful BTW your minuscule faith was too weak to read leviticus? I wonder why you keep ignoring me and thena ccuse me of bigotry XD Well its of no use with a religion that teaches you that thinking on your own is a bad thing to do and that you should never think but simply accept shit on faith, for if you were gullible enough to believe this crap (or faithful as you say) then you will have a very nice reward but only after you die and only if you believe in it.
C’mon now XD
@sojoyful hey why didn’t you post “stop using your atheistic propaganda” in the same post with “eating = a process = spiritual suicide”? XD
